We were working at Emory & Henry and this is where we had lunch. Their food was great and the server had our drinks as soon as we sat down.
An alluring atmosphere, the kind you might expect from a restaurant serving sandwiches across the street from a small liberal arts school. Alluring and deceptive. The decor of a restaurant is never enough to make up for poor service or poor food quality. The nachos were obviously several handfuls of tortilla chips tossed into a bowl with the most basic of cheese sauces plopped very conservatively on one small section of the nachos. This is fine though given that the restaurant is not particularly a restaurant known for its nachos. The sandwich of choice, the eggs Benedict Arnold burger, was not cooked properly nor did it have hollandaise sauce as advertised. The server was unable to maintain a proper visitation ratio to our table and wherever else she was. Ruined my wedding night.
Nice place. Good service and atmosphere. Burger was real good. Party of 5 and we all enjoyed it. Way too many choices on the menu.
On our way from Jersey to Texas. Saw sign on Rt 81S. So glad we stopped! Sat at the bar. Shelley was great! Friendly., did & service was really good. Thx so much!!!
Small chain restaurant food w local flair. Glorious patio for summer chilling with space for kids to be kids. Good weekly specials for each night. Service is sometimes slow, but the food is generally good. Limited tap selection of beers; due to dry campus, but they are working on more options.
